They got Gudas and 2 picks? One being a 1st!!

I wouldn't trade Gudas for Coburn straight up.

That's a great trade for Philly. Pens fans will learn to hate that dude real quick.

I would have traded P Mart for that very same deal.

Yeah, I'm stunned by that haul. I don't think Coburn is all that great. Decent, but not worth it IMO.

Unfortunately, it's Sportsnet. Any TSN feed anywhere? Kukla's Korner (Detroit) used to carry it but today it's Sportsnet...again.

I agree about Gudas. He's tough to play against and has a low cap hit for another year. That deal is a head scratcher

I kinda wish we were just to see these hauls lol. Just think, Letang, Martin and Hoff... that's enough to stock the prospect pool for years and years. Add that with Maatta and the whole team I guess... I would love to see the value of our guys right now, but I would much rather have a chance at the Cup

I can see Downie and Sutter. No way a cap team can move Comeau's production out. Biggest bargain in the NHL this year. If we traded him, we might as well be complete sellers because we aren't going to get anything that would be worthwhile.

Coburn is actually a pretty darn good defender. Gudas is basically Luke Schenn. Not very mobile, not great with the puck, but h hits and he is aggressive. Tampa over paid, but they got a much better defender.

That haul Philly got for Coburn was the kind of haul I was looking for in return for P Mart before Maatta got injured. I know we cant trade P Mart now, but would anyone have traded P Mart for the very same deal Philly got? You could argue the Pens could have gotten more.

Gudas is the kind of guy I wanted the Pens to move Martin for. Physical. Tough to play against. Underrated. Agitator. Thick, solid player who drives other star players nuts. Nice cap hit. A guy like this is the element our D is missing IMO.
